Django Guitars

At the conclusion of the day of workshops and free sessions, we will all gather together in the hotel bar area to celebrate the twentieth birthday of Django, our beloved web framework based on the Python programming language. We will enjoy the music of Django Reinhardt, from whom the framework's name was inspired, performed by two jazz guitarists, Paolo Prosperini and Stefano Cacciatore. Everyone can independently grab a drink at the bar or take the opportunity to listen to good music by the pool. What better occasion to be together enjoying good music and sipping a drink to relax after an intense first day of activities?

The first day of PyCon Italia is traditionally the day of the PyDrink! And what better setting than the beautiful garden of the Regency Savoia Hotel? After the last talk of the day (from 19:00 onwards), join us for a relaxed conversation in the garden: with a quality music soundtrack and entertainment, where even the conference organizers will be involved in a pleasant evening of networking and relaxation. You can bring friends to the event by purchasing a ticket for them for the social event.

Discover Bologna

A classic itinerary of the city designed for those visiting Bologna for the first time. It touches on the main monuments and squares (Piazza Maggiore, the monuments and the fountain, the Basilica of San Petronio, the Two Towers).
An ideal path for those who want to discover the most important monuments of the city, not only from a historical and artistic perspective but also through anecdotes and curiosities to fully immerse in the spirit of the place.
The tour will start at 19:30 from in front of the restaurant "Le Scuderie" where the Pydinner will take place, in Piazza Giuseppe Verdi 2, and will conclude again at the same point at the time of our social dinner's start!

The tour starts at 19:30 and ends at 20:30 from and to Le Scuderie, where the PyDinner will happen.
Classic city route for those who have never seen Bologna. It covers the main monuments and squares (Piazza Maggiore, monuments and fountain, Basilica S. Petronio, Two Towers). Ideal city route for those who want to discover the main monuments, not only from a historical and artistic point of view but also with anecdotes and fun facts to immerse themselves in the “local” spirit.

PyDinner

PyDinner is the official social dinner of PyCon Italia! It will be held on Friday, May 30 at 8:30 PM at 'Le Scuderie' (link: https://scuderia.futurefood.network/#), in the center of Bologna (link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/VdJLNZ9kGov6M89i8), to give all participants a moment to remember together and the opportunity to taste the wonderful local cuisine!
We will provide two menus, one omnivorous and one vegan, at a fixed price of 40€ per person. You can bring friends and partners by also purchasing a ticket for them.
How to Participate in the PyDinner
Seats are limited, so reservation is mandatory. At the entrance, you will need to present your reservation to enter the event.
For all participants, water and wine (1 bottle for every 4 people) will be available, and it will also be possible to get coffee directly at the restaurant counter at the end of dinner. Any extra consumption will be paid directly at the restaurant.

PyFest

This year we thought it would be nice to celebrate together at the end of the last day of PyCon Italia. Therefore, we have organized a great party at the venue O2 Oxygen (https://g.co/kgs/gGDgT7J), where the super energetic “Back to the 90’s Boys” (Instagram and Facebook) will perform live, followed by a fantastic DJ set by "ì Pusce DJ".
The entrance fee is €20, and it already includes a drink! Don't miss the party and come join us for some fun! For the evening, we will also have private buses available for transportation to and from the hotel of PyCon Italia.
The shuttle will be available from 21:15 to 23:15 towards the party and from 23:45 to 1:45 towards the hotel, making a trip approximately every 30 minutes during these time slots.
